Hey everyone. In my profession (real estate), I need to look my best and make a good first impression. Nice car, nice suit, etc. Now, I think I can perfect my look by adding just a little makeup (don't judge). So I tried and took a self portrait. Any advice out there?

Hair/Makeup advice for school dance....?
K, so the 8th grade dinner dance is tomorrow.
I already have my
dress (pink with sparkles, rouching, two-tiered skirt that falls just above my knees, halter strap, and light pink satin ribbon right above my waist)
shoes (champagne colored strappy sandals with gold jewels as an accent and a little under a 2 inch heel)
and accessories (gold stud earrings in second hole, gold dangly ones in first)
but I am totally stumped as to what i should do for hair and makeup! I want to keep it simple, since I want to be able to dance and be active, but I still want to look nice. I have a pale complexion, but right now I have a healthy tan, green eyes, and dark brown hair which falls to a little under the middle of my back. All suggestions welcome. Obviously, the one I use or helps me the most gets the 10pts.

Go as natural as possible, especially since you're tan now. I'd go for a shiny lip gloss instead of lipstick. Definitely accentuate your eyes...a little mascara...some shimmery eyeshadow (there are lots of gold/summery colors in the stores now).

HAIR FIRST: wash and dry your hair. Leave it down then take about half of it and put it up in a clip(pink maybe) then curl the hair thats down and curl the hair thats up. MAKE-UP SECOND: try a pink glossy lipstick. or Pink lipstick then a little bit of gloss. Maybe some pink blush, and light pink eyeshadow. Light enough u cant tell its pink but kinda can tell.
the dress and shoes and everything sounds cute...um for makeup just do slightly smokey eyes...light blush...and clear lip gloss( keep it simple!;-)...try your curling your hair with hot rollers and leave it down or clip back a little of it or put it up in a sexy bun...you will look great!!!

it depends what your style is i would say stay natural little mascara and concealer with a nude lip or clear lip gloss
for you skin and hair type, you most definately wanna try a coral blush color this will give you an effect that looks like you have an amazing sunkissed look. follow by eyeliner and mascara and a lipstick color that's pretty light or either dark no in betweens.

Makeup advice for prom?
I have a deep purple colored dress, dark brown hair, blue eyes, and pale skin. What makeup pallette should I use for prom? Or does anyone know a professional in the Hagerstown/Cumberland, MD area to recommend??Makeup advice for prom?

From the top of the first shadow to just below the brow bone, apply your second shadow(a softer shade)
From the top of the second shadow to your brows, apply your third shadow(a very pale shade)

Well, go for the neutrals. Like you are not even wearing makeup. It makes you look more youthful. DO NOT USE TOO MUCH. You will look aged, and will look like you are sweating, (which you really are from so much makeup)
Use this, if you want to look great: non-clumping mascara, a tint of foundation, lip gloss, a tad of two-toned eyeshadow. Tip: when choosing lip gloss, make sure color is no darker than the inside skin of your mouth.

try dark blue and purple to contrast with you eyes and skin, also a darker green will bring out your eyes,
beware not to go too pink with your blusher with this look or you will look a little ott,
the darker you go on your eyes the paler your lips should be
incontrast because of your dark hair and pale complection you could try a ver old school glamour look with red lips and a line of liquid liner alonge the top of your eyes, and mascara, this look takes some guts tho,

i personally prefer natural colours as it looks a lot more classier and professional, you clearly suit cold tones with having black hair and pink/yellow undertones so i would suggest ditching the gold as this is a warm colour and choosing a cold coloured eyeshadow, pink, blue, white/silver etc...
well, i would go with a foundation closest to your skin, then maybe add bronzer, and then sea blue, or dark lime green eyeshadow, black mascara, black eyes, and a natural pink lip gloss color.
if you apply blue/green non your top, and bottom lids, it will make your eyes pop, and more awaken, :)
